SAN DIEGO, Calif., July 17, 2023 – Tabor Communications has added Douglas Eadline, PhD to its editorial team as Managing Editor of HPCwire and promoted writer and editor Jaime Hampton to Managing Editor of EnterpriseAI. Both will report to Editorial Director Tiffany Trader, who oversees both publications along with Datanami and QCwire.
“I am beyond thrilled to add a very technical editor to our team in Doug Eadline,” said Tom Tabor, Founder and CEO of Tabor Communications Inc. “Doug is a well-known HPC pundit and his expertise broadens our ability to accurately report on this highly technical field. Jaime is one of our young guns who has demonstrated an exceptional editor’s ability to cover the fast-moving world of AI. We are in great hands with Doug and Jaime at the helms of their respective publications.”
Eadline began his career as Analytical Chemist with an interest in high performance computer methods. Starting with the first Beowulf “How-To” document, he has written hundreds of articles, white papers, and instructional documents and videos covering many aspects of Linux HPC, Hadoop, and Data Analytics computing. Prior to launching and editing the popular ClusterMonkey.net website in 2005, Eadline served as Editor-in-Chief for ClusterWorld Magazine and was Senior HPC Editor for Linux Magazine.
“I can still remember reading the original hardcopy version of Supercomputing Review (HPCwire’s precursor) and was always impressed with the scope and coverage of the emerging Supercomputing/HPC market and community,” said Eadline. “As a long-time practitioner and writer in the HPC community, I am excited to contribute and continue the long tradition of journalistic excellence in the Tabor Communications family of publications.”
Hampton started with Tabor Communications as an Editorial Assistant in 2021 and was promoted to Staff Writer in 2022. This latest promotion to Managing Editor of EnterpriseAI will allow her to focus exclusively on enterprise artificial intelligence. Hampton’s interest lies in generative AI and its emerging use cases, machine and deep learning, AI hardware and infrastructure, AI ethics, the impact of AI on business, and enterprise applications of AI in sectors such as media, manufacturing, and finance.
“I am thrilled to be leading EnterpriseAI into its next chapter,” said Hampton. “As artificial intelligence continues to rapidly evolve, enterprises need a deep understanding of AI implementation and how these emerging technologies can be used to solve real-world problems. I am committed to keeping our readers informed on the latest developments in this exciting space.”
